Applies To

Consumers, guests, marketplace users, and general public users of Velora booking surfaces

These Marketplace Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and Velora Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ('Velora', 'we', 'us', or 'our') governing your use of Velora's marketplace, booking pages, customer accounts, widgets, and other public consumer-facing services.

If you do not agree to these Marketplace Terms of Use, do not use the marketplace or public booking services.

Policy Snapshot

  • Velora provides marketplace and software infrastructure, but salon and wellness services are delivered by the relevant business, not by Velora.
  • Businesses remain responsible for service quality, pricing accuracy, refunds, staff conduct, licensing, treatment suitability, and local compliance.
  • Velora may moderate listings, reviews, offers, and marketplace activity to protect users and platform integrity.
  • Velora limits its liability and excludes responsibility for business-performed services to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Section 01

Velora marketplace role

Velora operates a technology platform that allows users to discover businesses, browse services, read reviews, join waitlists, make bookings, and interact with participating businesses.

Except where Velora expressly states otherwise, the actual beauty, wellness, salon, barber, spa, clinic, or other in-person service is provided by the relevant listed business and not by Velora.

Velora is not the employer, manager, medical supervisor, licensed professional, or agent of listed businesses solely because they use the platform.

Section 02

Accounts, bookings, and payment-linked actions

  • You must provide accurate booking, identity, and contact information.
  • You are responsible for reviewing the selected business, location, time, deposit requirement, and service details before confirming a booking.
  • Deposits, no-show fees, cancellation windows, refund rules, and package restrictions may be set by the relevant business and disclosed through the booking flow or business profile.
  • Where payment is collected through Velora-connected flows, Velora may facilitate transmission of payment instructions to third-party processors, but payment processing itself is performed by those third parties and the relevant business.

Section 03

Business responsibility for services

  • Each listed business is solely responsible for its staff, treatment quality, service delivery, scheduling changes, safety standards, sanitary practices, permits, insurance, and legal compliance.
  • Each listed business is solely responsible for whether a service is appropriate for you and for collecting or honoring any informed consent, intake, patch-test, allergy, or health-related information required by law or professional standards.
  • Each listed business is solely responsible for complaints, injury claims, malpractice allegations, consumer claims, refunds, charge disputes related to service quality, and local tax compliance for the services it provides.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, any dispute about the actual in-person service should be directed first to the business that provided or agreed to provide it.

Section 04

Listings, content, and reviews

Velora may display business names, service menus, prices, ratings, photos, descriptions, availability, promotions, ranking labels, and other marketplace content. Velora may remove, demote, or edit marketplace content to protect users, comply with law, or preserve platform quality.

If you submit a review, rating, photo, comment, or other user content, you represent that it is truthful, lawful, non-defamatory, and based on a genuine experience where applicable.

  • Do not post abusive, threatening, discriminatory, fraudulent, obscene, private, or infringing content.
  • Velora may suspend, hide, investigate, or remove content that appears misleading, manipulated, fake, or otherwise harmful to the marketplace.

Section 05

Offers, cancellations, and refunds

Promotions, vouchers, memberships, referral credits, gift cards, and limited-time offers may be subject to additional conditions, expiration limits, fair-use rules, and business-specific participation limits.

Cancellation rights, refund eligibility, and no-show consequences depend on the relevant business terms, the booking flow, the payment processor, and mandatory consumer law. Velora may assist operationally with cancellation or refund handling but does not guarantee that every booking qualifies for reversal.

Section 06

Prohibited use

  • Do not use the marketplace for fraud, charge abuse, fake reviews, booking abuse, harassment, impersonation, scraping, security attacks, or unlawful conduct.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with platform integrity, bypass access controls, or manipulate ranking, availability, pricing, review systems, or promotional mechanics.

Section 07

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE MARKETPLACE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE.' VELORA DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, ERROR-FREE OPERATION, BUSINESS QUALITY, FITNESS OF ANY LISTED SERVICE, OR ACCURACY OF EVERY LISTING DETAIL AT EVERY MOMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELORA IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTS, ERRORS, OMISSIONS, MISCONDUCT, NEGLIGENCE, INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, TREATMENT OUTCOME, LICENSING STATUS, OR REGULATORY FAILURES OF ANY LISTED BUSINESS OR ITS PERSONNEL.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELORA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST SAVINGS, LOST OPPORTUNITY, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR LOST PROFITS ARISING OUT OF MARKETPLACE USE.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including where consumer law makes certain remedies non-waivable.

Section 08

Disputes and contact

Marketplace disputes should first be raised with the relevant business. Velora may investigate platform misuse, content issues, fraud patterns, or material integrity issues affecting the marketplace.

These Marketplace Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra having exclusive jurisdiction except where non-waivable consumer rights require otherwise.
